Who is Lucy?

I am Lucy Devine, a Brand Strategist with a creative eye and a strategic mind. My goal in my professional life is to humanize brands / ads / capitalism as much as I can. We all deserve to feel seen and represented! I am an energetic, kind, make-it-happen team member who is always open to learning & growing.

Over the last three years, I worked in marketing at Anheuser-Busch. During that time, I was able to work on a global brand (Stella Artois) and analyze industry trends to craft innovative concepts on the Innovation team.

My last role was as a brand strategist / project manager on the Brand Creation team where we built new-to-world brands from scratch. We then managed above-the-line marketing for them as they were piloted in the Innovation Incubator.

Through it all, I collaborated with AMAZING cross-functionals and creative agency partners. The passion those agency partners had for our projects was incredibly inspiring. I was so energized by the dedication, work, and creativity from these partners that I realized that I’d love to work agency-side in a Strategy role!

Bachelor's in History & Literature, Magna Cum Laude

Focus field in ‘Women in Visual and Cultural History’ leveraging archival materials on women in marketing and advertising as well as research, writing courses, & film studies.
Magna Cum Laude distinction for research and thesis titled “Wise Women in the World of Mad Men: The Forgotten History of Jean Wade Rindlaub and Early Female Advertising Executives”
French citation and multiple courses in documentary film production (16mm).

My skills include brand strategy, brand identity design, messaging and positioning, campaign development, and project management. I am committed to delivering results-driven solutions that exceed expectations.

I utilize a range of tools and technologies to support my work, including IRI, Adobe Creative Suite (learning Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator right now!), Google Analytics, and Asana. Let me leverage the latest tools and trends to elevate your brand.!

Co-Editor & Set Dresser on A Small Planet, a short film set to be released in late 2023. Worked as Production Assistant on commercial shoot for Nice Bear Productions.
